Looking For Love in All the Wrong Places

ree

Rumi said, "what you seek is seeking you"...this could not be truer as the sky is bluer, but often we confuse that we are seeking happiness in other people or things and really what we have been looking for is inside us the whole time.  It's aggravating when someone tells you to find happiness within YOU when things around you are chaotic or stressful.  Life isn't a constant flow and one we are succeeding in one area of of lives, others might be failing miserably...but let up on yourself because thats normal and anyone who tells you different is lying.  Period.  Balance is one of the hardest things to achieve and perfect balance isn't sustainable so instead of seeking balance, seek something deeper within yourself that provides you strength, hope, and drive to keep moving forward when the smoke gets in your eyes.

Doing more of what makes you truly happy is the prescription for life.  Making healthy choices feels good and the physicalness of making healthy choices is just one of the many rewards.  When you work on deepening your faith, spirituality and prayer of whatever moves you, you feel spiritually aligned and supported.  You feel in sync and in tune.  When you consume healthy foods, your brain produces happy healthy thoughts too that permeate your cells producing more positive vibes and energy.  When you focus on your own life, you stop worrying about others lives or comparing.  Comparison is poison because most people only show what seems to be perfect.  When you get a good nights sleep and or take a personal day, you feel rested and rejuvenated and ready to seize the day.  When you're fatigued, you often crash resulting in shotty work and shotty relationships.  When you love and take pride in your worklife, you ooze that in your performance and relationships.  No one wants to be on the other side of a person complaining constantly about their life in any way because that negative energy spreads like a forest fire.  If you are unhappy in your career, actively take action to make a positive change that makes you happy.  Money doesn't birth happiness but when you love your work, loving your work does births abundance  Typically when a person loves what they do, they are really good at it.  Food for thought.

Take a moment to sit quietly.  Close your eyes.  Deepen your breath.  Relax your face, your jaw, your shoulders and neck, your belly, etc.  Take 30 slow deep conscious breaths and bring the word, "ABUNDANCE" to your brain.  With your eyes closed, paint the picture of what abundance is to you.  Manifest a new reality of what abundance is.  Is it your family sitting around you sharing a meal?  Are you on a trip to place you've always wanted to visit with the one you love? Is it accolades and financial success?  If so, what do you do with that "success"?  Who is around you?  Plant the seed for your own abundance and so-called happiness. Plant the seed for what you want your life to look like.  If you can picture it in your mind you can hold it in your hand.  The power of your thoughts is strong beyond measure.  Make sure your thoughts are kind, self-loving and positive.  Repeating this meditation exercise for 30 days can be extremely powerful so if the winter blues or weather confusion has got you down, try re-creating a new reality.  Think it until it becomes you.  In love, light, and abundance for ALL.  Kimi
